This session will be a follow up to the ethics session held in June. We will discuss further developments and concerns regarding best practices and considerations when navigating schooling during a pandemic. Participants are encouraged to submit questions or scenarios in advance and/or bring examples to the session. Registration will occur from 8:30-9 with the session beginning promptly at 9.
Dr. Laurie McGarry Klose is the owner and CEO of RespectED, a consulting firm that provides services to schools and families. She has served as a faculty member at Trinity University and Texas State University, including serving as the Director of Assessment for the Clinic for Autism Research, Evaluation and Support and University Assessment and Counseling Clinic, and as a school psychologist for 12 years in California, Massachusetts and Texas. Leadership positions include President of Texas ASP, Delegate, SE Delegate Representative, numerous state and national committees and the Chair of the NASP Ethics and Professional Practices Board. Laurie will begin her term as President Elect of NASP on July 1, 2020.
You MUST have participated in the first half of this training either live or via the Vimeo video link. This session is FREE to all who have completed the first half of the training and will yield 1.5 CPDs for members only. Video must remain on and participants are to remain present (small bathroom breaks are fine) for the duration of the training in order to receive CPDs. The original session is available for free in our members only section of the website. In order to receive the 2 CPDs for the self-paced video, please email us at HASP808@gmail.com for a link. Self paced CPDs will be available to members at $5 per credit hour. The video is free to view without CPDs at any point to all members.
